Duties and Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct mental health assessments, evaluate patient progress, and update treatment plans.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to psychiatric emergencies, de-escalate situations, and provide immediate care.
- Therapeutic Support: Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, support patients in coping strategies, and promote mental health.
- Collaboration: Work with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, document care provided, and report changes in patient status.
- Education: Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping mechanisms.
- Compliance: Ensure all care provided is in accordance with hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
Job Requirements:
- Must be currently licensed in the state of TN
- Must posses active BLS approved by American Heart Association
- Candidate must be within the 50 miles from the facility location.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $2,250.00 per week
