Estimating:
- Develop design build Estimates based on preliminary/concept level information
- Perform lump sum/hard bid process leading a team
- Perform detailed quantity surveys/take-offs both manually and electronically
- Possess knowledge of and ability to develop detailed pricing (expertise in one or more trades as experience grows)
- Perform Value Engineering/Value Analysis
- Develop comparable building analysis
- Perform building systems analysis and constructability reviews
- Possess knowledge of cost and pricing trends and develop escalation analysis
- Buyout/negotiate prime trade subcontracts
- Develop detailed scopes of work by trade
Leadership
- Provide leadership through building relationships, motivating others, providing clear direction, and cooperative teamwork
- Communicate effectively; both written and verbal
- Provide training and serve as a mentor to less experienced personnel

B.S. in Construction Engineering or related technical area
- 6+ years' experience in estimating with most recent experience working on Industrial Projects
- Current experience in Distribution/Warehouse with projects in excess of $75M
- Current or prior experience in Cold Storage projects in excess of $25M
- Current experience in national projects across the United States
- Established relationships with architects/engineers that focus on industrial market
- Established regional relationships with subcontractors focused on distribution centers
- Established national relationships with traveling subcontractors focused on distribution centers
- Established relationship with specialty MEP design build subcontractors
- Work from Chicagoland Office
