The dock and warehouse employee will be responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining the cylinder dock and assisting customers with their cylinder needs. The dock employee will load/unload cylinders, complete cylinder inspections, pull/pack customer orders and other duties/responsibilities as needed.
Job duties/ responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Must understand the hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks
- Provides assistance with loading trucks and off-loading trucks in preparation for deliveries and transfers
- Ensures all required pre-fill/post-fill inspections valid and completed before cylinders are released to customers.
- Abides by a safe and compliant culture, correcting unsafe acts or conditions without delay.
- Inspect cylinders for defects/test date issues to ensure compliance with government/company policies
- Paint cylinders to adhere to Awisco's cylinder color code system.
- Perform other related duties as necessary

· Frequently required to lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds
· Continually exposed to outside weather conditions
· Frequently exposed to loud noise
Qualifications
· Excellent time-management skills.
· Must be driven and team oriented.
· Bilingual- English/ Spanish preferred
Hours of Operation
Mon-Fri, 5:00am-5:00pm, Saturday: 8am-12pm
*Employees must be willing to work at least one Saturday per month between the hours of 8am-12pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
