Truss Technician
Are you a hands-on individual with a passion for precision and quality? We are looking for a Truss Technicians to join our team. In this role and play a crucial part in the production of roof and floor trusses and wall panels. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality will be key in ensuring the success of our manufacturing process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Examine materials before assembly to ensure defective lumber is not used in truss manufacturing.
- Material Handling: Safely offload, sort, and organize materials onto designated carts, ensuring they are ready for the job sequence.
- Assembly: Complete tasks on the assembly line for each job with precision and accuracy.
- Saw Operation: Operate various saws, including the computer controlled Cybersaw, Spidasaw, and Radial Arm saw, to make accurate cuts.
- Truss Assembly: Execute operations on the MiTek truss assembly table, placing specified boards and webs using the Virtek setup system.
- Equipment Operation: Operate the Roof glider press, finished truss conveyor, and automated truss stacker.
- Gable Assembly: Perform gable assembly using air nailers and staplers.
- Safety: Maintain a clear and safe manufacturing floor during production, attending to any housekeeping duties as needed. Incident Reporting: Immediately report all accidents, injuries, damage to merchandise, buildings, equipment, and customer property to the Operations Manager.
- Lifting and Maneuvering: Practice safe and proper lifting, carrying, and material maneuvering techniques.
