Job Overview:
Exciting contract to hire opportunity for an experienced assembler to join a growing organization. Seeking candidates with a Team Player attitude, strong willingness to learn, and dynamic skillset.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of recent assembly under microscope
- Strong hand soldering experience is required (certification is a plus)
- Knowledge and experience using assembly adhesives
- Catheter assembly and testing experience (highly desired)
- Good documentation and organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, meet aggressive deadlines, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- High School Diploma is required
Job Duties:
- Good hand hand-eye coordination to perform assembly under a microscope.
- Documents and adheres to bill of materials, work instructions and test procedures.
- Measuring and documenting performance metrics using dimensional equipment.
- Operate within a quality management system using a manufacturing traveler.
- Monitor equipment calibration certifications required for assembly operations.
- Assist engineering and work under minimal guidance and supervision.
- Reports status of ongoing assembly activities to immediate supervisor.
- Support company goals and objectives, policies, and procedures.
Must be able to train in Rancho Bernardo for 6-8 weeks, then move to Carlsbad.
Hours: 9/80 schedule, Monday thru Thursday 7:30am to 5pm and Friday 7:30am to 4pm with every other Friday off.
SALARY RANGE
- $19.50 for Operator I
- $20.50 for Operator II
