Your responsibilities:
-
To provide school based professional nursing care medications, treatments, and other care to students consistent with students’ medical orders, school-based policies and procedures and current standards of nursing care.

To integrate working knowledge of students’ health and family histories into nursing care activities.

To train, support and communicate with school staff regarding student health issues through modeling, informal and formal staff instruction.

To communicate with families and team members regarding student health issues, as warranted, and refer persistent, significant or complex student health issues to other school team members including Certified School Nurse or Director of Health Services, or to students’ healthcare providers, as warranted.

To document nursing care activities consistent with school policies and procedures.
Schedule:
-
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM OR Sunday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Current in-state RN License required
-
1.5 - 2 years of experience
-
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in nursing preferred

Experience with children with multiple disabilities, including visual impairments preferred

Authorization to work in the United States
