The Dietary Cook is responsible for the preparation and delivery of meals to patients, including regular and therapeutic diets, as well as the preparation for all cafeteria meals and food items for employee/visitor meals and organizational events. Maintains safe food handling practices while preparing, serving and cooling foods. He or she must be flexible to work other positions and shifts as dictated by the needs of the hospital and/or department.
High School diploma or GED, 1 year related cook experience; or equivalent combination.
