Essential Functions of the position are as follows:
- Calculating and processing production consumption and output
- Analyze warehouse movements and data
- Assist production personnel
- Assist with Housekeeping duties
- Insure proper implementation of HACCP Programs, GMP’s, SSOPs, Kosher, Organic and other FDA requirements
- Evaluate need for new equipment or personnel
- Maintain production records
- Report food safety issues promptly to Plant Manager
Marginal Functions of the Position:
Observe all R.L. Schreiber, Inc. Safety Policies
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Work Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years warehousing experience
- Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Certified Forklift Operator
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Able to work with airborne dust, ingredient particles, and strong aromas
- Strong analytical and problem –solving skills
- MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Proficiency.
- Excellent communication and team player skills
Role and Responsibilities
- Remove Product with forklift, pallet jack, or by hand
- Verify Product is received in acceptable condition
- Verify piece count against bill of landing
- Assist with quarterly inventory counts
- Report food safety issues to Supervisor , QA Personnel or Plant Manager
- Follow all SQF, and FDA regulations
Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills in English both orally and written
