Our client is rolling out a new Learning Management System (LMS), Adobe Learning Manager, for medical insurance contractors. The aim is to ensure compliance, enhance quality, and reduce healthcare costs by effectively managing provider training. We are looking for an LMS Consultant to guide the implementation strategically, technically, and analytically. The target is to have the system fully operational by the project’s conclusion.
Start Date: Early August
Duration: 6-12 months (initial 6-month phase with potential extension)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week initially, may transition to part-time after 6 months)
Location: Virtual
Daily Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and provide technical support for Adobe Learning Manager (ALM) LMS implementation.
- Offer LMS consulting services, sharing best practices with clients and peers.
- Serve as the technical consultant to IT, ensuring alignment of business requirements and technical solutions.
- Translate business and user needs into functional requirements and solutions.
- Build, test, and validate user data and course structures within ALM.
- Create and test course assignments, email notifications, custom reports, and other features in ALM.
- Support the LMS implementation from the ground up, ensuring smooth operation and integration.
- Manage ongoing LMS functionality, including single sign-on, process documentation, testing, and releasing new features.
- Analyze and manage LMS data, designing both scheduled and ad hoc reports.
- Oversee integrations between the LMS and other systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (digital, enterprise architecture, IT, Provider Operations) for system integration.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience with corporate LMS administration (e.g., Cornerstone, SumTotal, Absorb), particularly in implementation.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Preferably, experience with LMS in the medical/healthcare industry.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel for report analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision on multiple projects.
This role is crucial for the successful deployment of the LMS, aiming to enhance provider training and ultimately improve healthcare delivery.
The pay rate range is $70.00 to $80.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
