Job Description:
Mail Management is hiring a Night Shift CDL A driver for a dedicated route to Amarillo TX from Liberal, KS. 2-3 days per week usual schedule.
- Monday through Saturday: 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM with layover in Amarillo, TX and head back to Liberal, KS: 2:15 AM to 6:30 AM
- Usually 8 hour shift, but get paid for a 10 Hour Block Paid Daily.
- $326.60 daily pay
- Route split between 2 drivers, with each driver working 2-3 days per week.
- Total Pay: $32.66 per hour. $27.13 in Regular Hourly Pay + $5.53 in Health & Wellness Pay (Paid up to 40 hours per week)**– Health & Wellness Pay is used to offset monthly health insurance premiums. The Health & Wellness pay is added to your paycheck no matter if you choose insurance or not.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drivers must arrive on time daily.
- Drivers must inspect the truck before, during, and after the run for problems. (pre-trip/post-trip) (DVIR) Notify the local operations manager of any issues.
- Complete job daily within guidelines of company procedures and policies, as well as federal and state regulations of operating motor vehicles.
- Report any delays (weather, traffic, breakdowns) that will interfere with on-time arrival at postal facilities.

Job Requirements:
- A minimum of at least 2 years experience of driving a CDL A tractor trailer within the last 10 years
- Possess valid CDL A
- Ability to pass a federal background check
- No felonies or DUIs/DWIs within the last five years
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting and pushing/pulling wheeled carts**
- Must pass a DOT Physical and Pre-employment drug test (company paid)
** Drivers may be required to load, unload, sort, and handle cargo to and from trailers by hand or by use of mechanical equipment such as carts or a pallet jack. The driver must be able to bend, stoop, twist, climb and move freely in the handling of cargo that may weigh more than 100 pounds. The driver must be able to lift from 60 – 100 pounds. The driver must be able to lift 60 pounds over the head and must be able to exert a minimum of 70 pounds pull pressure on the 5th wheel lock and trailer tandem release. The driver must be able to safely maneuver a cart weighing up to 1600 pounds.
