Typical Physical /Mental Demands
- Exert physical effort in transporting 50 pounds
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work area.
- Push/Pull cart repetitively throughout the day.
- Forward bending, squatting and kneeling about 50 times per day for up to 5 minutes at a time.
- Satisfactorily communicate with the guest, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Responsible for stocking water in guest rooms. Position requires time on feet all during shift – walking, standing, pushing carts, etc.
Typical working conditions: Under vis variable temperature conditions, indoors, and around fumes and /or odors
Example of Duties: (includes but not limited to the following )
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
- Anticipate guest’s needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests with a smile.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. ( refrigerators, carts, and storeroom).
- Set up and organize workstations with designated supplies, forms, and resource materials, and report any shortages to the manager/supervisor.
- Inventory cart at the beginning and end of shift.
- The ability to sign out keys.
The ability to maneuver mini bar carts throughout the hotel keeping them neat and orderly.
