Job Summary
Melone Hatley is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative who will convert provided leads into new business by using skills that ensure a great customer experience. The position will be located within our Virginia Beach, VA office or remote. The Inside Sales Representative serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients and contributes greatly to their first impressions of our firm. We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.
Candidates should be client centric and have a collaborative team focus. The ideal candidate will also possess strong interpersonal skills, selling skills, phone skills, multi-tasking skills, maintain a proactive approach while maintaining an empathetic attitude in dealing with confidential client matters.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Source new sales opportunities utilizing inbound leads through an initial phone call, follow-up calls and emails.
- Demonstrate empathy through utilizing listening and interviewing skills.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly goals.
- Team with internal partners to build pipelines and close deals.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 1 year of proven inside sales experience.
- Track record of over-achieving goals.
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Proficient with corporate productivity software and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with CRM.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Some College preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
