Customer Service / Trade Show Coordinator Support
Friendly energetic and self-motivated individual for a Customer Service and Trade Show Coordinator.
Requirements: The candidate must be well organized, able to multi-task and be a team player. Have professional written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Intermediate computer and proficient typing skills are a must. The Registration and Tradeshow Coordinator must be a positive team player, able to take direction, collaborate as a team member and work independently with attention for detail.
Customer Service, Micro Electronics, Life Sciences and Intercompany
Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Reports To: Vice President, Operations
Summary of Duties: Under minimal supervision, answer incoming customer service calls. Order entry and order acknowledgement. Provide support for international factory and outside sales representatives. Registration and Tradeshow Coordinator.
WORK PERFORMED:
1. Customer Service Calls / Inquires
· Product availability
· Prices
· Order shipment confirmation.
· Modifications to existing orders
· Email Correspondence
· Deliver the highest level of customer service in the most efficient manner possible.
2. Customer Complaints
· Complete customer complaint form.
· Work with the appropriate departments to resolve the complaint.
· Follow-up with customer with resolution
3. Processing of Customer Orders
· Order Entry daily of incoming customers’ orders.
· Price verification
· Releasing Orders to Warehouse
· Processing Credit Card Orders
· Fax or email of order confirmations.
· Printing Pick List from SB1, ERP
· Coordinating with shipping personnel on out going shipments
·
File and keep order records of transactions.
· Assist in maintaining database information.
4. Other Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide written customer quotes as necessary.
· Perform other duties, projects as assigned by the operations manager. Assist co-workers as necessary in related job responsibilities.
· Communication and intervention with overseas facilities, written and verbal as necessary.
· Deliver the highest level of customer service in the most efficient manner possible.
· Assist in Physical Inventory Count annually.
5. Trade Show Coordinator Responsibilities
· Communication with Sales team to determine shows of interest.
· Communication with marketing for massaging, profile, digital marketing, etc, signature lines.
· Coordinate with warehouse on shipping booth and trade show samples/accessories.
· Manage Trade Show portals.
· Provide overall support for registration in industry specific exhibitions.
· Working with the Marketing and Sales team, learn the Trade Show registration process and become the primary contact for inquiries related to registration and overall organization of Trade Shows.
· Responsible for getting payments made in advance of shows. Track and chase missing information from venues.
· Document, maintain and report accurately show expenses and expected annual cost.
Education / Experience: Any combination of education and experience that provides the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of assigned tasks. Tradeshow (Ideally includes registration experience).
