Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the plants' performance in comparison to budget.
2. Ensures planned Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of safety, efficiency, utilization, purchasing, and overall plant performance are met and/or exceeded.
3. Provide direction, motivation, and support to plant personnel.
4. Provides technical expertise and coaching to resolve processing, maintenance, tooling, and engineering issues.
5. Actively involved in the creation and execution of corrective actions.
6. Drives continuous operational improvement through 6S, Kaizen & SMED activities.
7. Monitors production schedule and labor hour correlation to ensure optimal performance
8. Maximizing reliability to avoid unscheduled shutdowns resulting in interruption of supply to customers.
9. Ensuring planned preventative maintenance is performed as planned.
10. Ensuring compliance with 6S Standards.
11. Recommends equipment upgrades and technological investments.
12. Liaising with the quality department, informing them of any difficulties in product or quality problems, and providing technical/ process solutions to solve the problem.
13. Driving improvements in productivity and cost savings
14. Driving improvement in the safety culture at the facility
15. Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Education and experience are required for the role.
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. 5+ years in a Plant Management role within the plastics industry
3. Proven ability to develop, lead, and direct manufacturing personnel

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
