Job Overview:
As a Budtender, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers, offering guidance and expertise on various cannabis products. The Budtender greets patients on the sales floor and/ or at checkout, assists customers with placing orders on the sales floor and at the register, confirms products purchased, completes the sale via cash or card with diligent attention to detail. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience for every customer while maintaining compliance with state regulations.
Sales Responsibilities:
· Greet patients on sales floor and/or at checkout and verify purchased product.
· Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions about different cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, and effects.
· Effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers, assisting them in selecting the right products based on their preferences and needs.
· Stay up-to-date on current cannabis trends, strains, and products, including edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
· Must keep current with the dispensary flow & product locations.
· Complete cash or card sales at the register.
· Maintain responsibility for all cash and credit card transactions performed, inventory and merchandise assigned and closing numbers on respective drawer.
· Must be able to perform cash and credit card transactions, as well as issuing of receipts, or change due to patients.
· Answer the phone, take messages, and direct calls to the proper person.
· Assist in the online product reservation process.
· Keep the dispensary sales floor clean, sanitized & free of clutter.
· Follow all state and federal regulations, including but not limited to IDFPR, ISP, etc.
· Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
· Recommend and help select the proper product for customers/patients depending on their individual needs.
· Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to patients clearly and effectively.

Job Requirements
· Six months to one year sales or POS experience
· Proficient with technology
· Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
· Must be 21 years of age
· Must possess a valid license or state ID
· Must be available to work varied hours and/or days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Qualifications: Bending and lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves and 75+ pounds with a co-worker, ability to be standing or sitting for long periods of time.
