Summary
The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator is an administrative position reporting to the Senior Program Officer in the Office of the Senior Vice President. The position provides executive-level administrative support for the Office of the Senior Vice President. The position assists with the coordination of high-level executive and Cabinet/Board events, meetings and other special projects. The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator works closely with other departments within Advancement and other departments throughout the university.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills required.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple demands and multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
- Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and keep projects on task meeting and exceeding timeline expectations.
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
Required Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma and 2 years related/transferable experience
OR
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college and 2-years direct experience; or Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years transferable experience.
- Knowledge of university fundraising.
