Livonia Ophthalmologists is seeking a high energy, well-trained and personable Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. Minimum 1-2 years in an ophthalmic patient setting as a COA. Extensive knowledge of Ophthalmic procedures. Have interpersonal skills to maintain comfortable and cooperative working relationships with physicians, patients and co-workers.
Responsible for performing a full range of ophthalmic functions such as history, visual acuity, refractometry, tonometry, pachymetry, keratometry, topography and other tasks specific to the physician's needs.
Salary commensurate with experience.
