Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a prompt and efficient manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Process guest payments using cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dining areas
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety guidelines
