The lab is a part of the Wellman Center and the Center for Systems Biology at MGH. A research assistant is being recruited to contribute to multiple projects involving the development of novel algorithms to understand mechanism and predict outcomes in decompensated heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and complications of cardiac transplantation. The individual will work with postdoctoral research fellows and with physician investigators in design, prototyping, and experimental validation. The principal investigators place a high priority on mentoring and career development for lab members. This is a great position for individuals considering advanced graduate training programs including doctoral programs or medical school or for those who wish to gain experience in medical applications to prepare for opportunities in industry. Several alumni from the laboratory in similar positions have successfully gone on to outstanding graduate programs or industry positions.
Interested candidates should include a resume or CV as well as a brief cover letter describing their background and interests in their application.
