RESIDENT MANAGER
Seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Resident Manager position and is able to start as soon as possible. The property is in the Kailua community 95 units, with a pool and tennis courts. This individual must be hands-on, have great people skills, be able to multi-task, manage staff and vendors and complex projects, be initiative-taking and have a strong work ethic and must be customer service oriented.
This position includes housing.
Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience as a resident/site manager preferred or experience in a related field.
- Experience and ability to perform building maintenance, janitorial and landscape maintenance.
- Experience maintaining a pool.
- Knowledge for the oversight of maintenance staff
- Knowledge for the oversight of contractors, bidding out contracts, and small projects as needed from time-to-time.
- Ability to work within a budget and prepare weekly reports.
- Basic computer skills, including email and word processing.
- Energetic and confident with a positive attitude, able to interact with a wide range of people.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems involving residents, vendors, emergency situations, etc.
- Must have a vehicle, a valid Hawaii Driver’s license, proof of insurance, and current automobile registration.
- Must be able to work 40+ hours per week, including 24-hour emergency availability.
