Hours of work: Weekly office hours & responsibilities required | Evenings and weekend work in line with training, matchday, tournament/showcase requirements.

Reporting to: Women’s Sporting Director & Girls Pathway Director.
Supporting the delivery of LSC’s vibrant, creative, & progressive program. A player centered approach of working within the youth club program.
Head Coach – responsible to coach up to 3 teams as determined by girl’s pathway director and women’s sporting director.
GA Director – point of contact for GA teams.
Work alongside the Phase Directors to ensure proper placement of players on GA teams.
Recruiting Director – implement and execution of girls’ college recruiting program.
Tournament/Showcase Director – planning and execution of events.
Assist with Talent ID’s, IDP’s, and Off-Season Camps/Clinics.
Other duties assigned by LSC leadership.
Coaching
§ Oversee GA League (Girls Academy League) teams within the Lexington Sporting Club youth structure.
§ Ensure we are compliant with the GA League requirements and standards.
§ Attend GA meetings/zooms/calls to ensure appropriate departmental communication, planning, and evaluation.
§ The point person for all communication between the GA League and LSC.
§ Work alongside LSC girls’ youth administrative director with regards to LSC travel, hotels, planning for GA events.
§ Work alongside LSC girls’ youth technical director to continue to develop and challenge detailed training sessions for girls across the soccer club ensuring implementation of the club-wide philosophy, methodology, and principles of play.
§ Develop and maintain a positive learning environment to maximize each players learning potential.
§ Ensure all training sessions are delivered with a compliant approach to Health and Safety.
§ Link all individual and team learning objectives to the Lexington Sporting Club philosophy.
Match Day
§ Ensure all GA coaches complete their match-day evaluation schematic upon completion of the match. Evaluate their team’s performance and complete the schematic and return it to the GA Director, Girls Pathway Director, and the Women’s Sporting Director no longer than 24 hours after the match.
§ Direct and maintain attention to individual and team performance, not the match result.
§ Emphasize individual and team learning objectives during pre-match, half time, and post-match team talks and player interaction.
§ Exhibit touchline behavior according to the Lexington Sporting Club coaching philosophy.
§ Link match day learning objectives to the Lexington Sporting Club coaching program.
Player Performance Reviews
§ Prepare and conduct player performance reviews (every 12 weeks) for each player within your agreed teams and assist all GA coaches on this task should they need assistance.
§ Link player performance reviews to the target learning outcomes of the Lexington Sporting Club coaching program.
§ Support staff in quality assurance of reviews.
Recruiting Director
§ Implement structured recruiting program to assist LSC girls’ players with the knowledge and information required to assist them with their recruiting processes.
§ Implement coaching recruiting panels and invite college coaches to attend for “townhall” type sessions throughout the calendar year.
§ Implement a plan for GA teams attending GA showcase events on gathering attending college coach’s information, then have processes in place to follow up with college coaches/players after each event.
§ Point of contact for college coaches inquiring about players, assist players in recruiting process, put together a compliance process for reporting player inquiries and communication back to players (ensure coaches are organized and report so we can properly track and communicate interest).
Tournament/Showcase Director
§ Responsible for the planning and execution of events.
§ Responsible for the recruitment and retention of participating teams in LSC Events.
§ Research and provide available dates throughout the calendar year to implement tournaments/showcases in Lexington, KY.
§ Sales:
o Develop annual tournament/showcase.
o Recruit teams and clubs to attend tournaments/showcases.
o Communicate with team officials to retain teams in out years.
o Assist in the recruitment of college coaches to attend events.
§ Operations:
o Act as point person on all tournament related issues including marketing, contracts, event administration, and resource management.
o Process tournament permission to host applications.
o Set-up tournaments with GotSoccer, or other application software.
§ Marketing/Sponsorship:
o Develop contacts database for teams, coaches, and administrators.
General
§ Attend all required meetings with ownership, leadership team, phase directors and technical directors.
§ Carry out any other reasonable duties that may arise or be assigned by the Girls Pathway Director and/or senior management staff.
§ Represent LSC at meetings/courses/seminars/study visits to gain up-to-date information and enhance good practice.
§ To be able to work flexible and unsociable hours where the role of the job requires.
§ Comply with all LSC club policies.
§ Promote the LSC brand and ethos in a professional, strong, and positive manner.
§ Work alongside other team members to support in other areas of the organization as and when required to promote best practice.

Preferred Qualifications
§ USSF A or B / UEFA B or C.
§ Professional Coaching Background preferred.
§ Extensive knowledge about youth soccer in the United States.
§ Superior oral and written communication skills.
§ Effective organizational skills for managing multiple tasks.
§ A positive attitude towards professional development and learning.
§ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred but not required.
Preferred Knowledge/Experience & Skills
§ Experience of playing professional soccer preferred.
§ Prior experience working in a professional soccer academy or elite youth club.
§ A sound understanding of safeguarding and welfare requirements.
§ Ability to relocate to Lexington, KY.
§ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other operating platforms.
§ Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
§ Strong communication and organizational skills to be able to manage numerous projects at once.
