Commercial contractor specializing in National Brand Quick Service Restaurants searching for experienced Assistant Project Manager with restaurant construction experience. Must be proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, knowledgeable of "ground up" construction practices as well as remodels and skilled in the use of MS Office programs.
Responsibilities
- Utilize construction management software to assist in project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with the project manager to create and maintain project schedules.
- Support construction management activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate project tasks and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Assist in project coordination by facilitating communication between different project teams.
- Utilize premium skills such as ProCore and Bluebeam to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in construction estimating and budgeting processes.
- Familiarize yourself with blueprint reading and schematics to support project planning and execution.
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and project management skills to support overall project success.
- Any additional experience in the restaurant industry can bring valuable insights to project management processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling, and project coordination
- Strong background in construction management and project management
- Familiarity with ProCore, Bluebeam, and other premium construction software tools
- Ability to read blueprints and understand schematics
- Experience with contracts and time management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software
- Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred
- Certification in project management or related field is a plus
- Restaurant experience is a bonus, showcasing adaptability and customer service skills
