PF Cigars is in search of a reliable person to take on the role of Route Delivery Driver/Sales Representative. Responsibilities include daily deliveries, managing invoices, and collecting payments from accounts in Houston and nearby areas. The position requires maintaining outstanding relationships with both new and existing customers. The perfect candidate will demonstrate a solid dedication to providing timely and professional service.
What you must poses:
- At least 3 years of previous work experience in Retail, Sales or Business/Account Development capacity.
- Valid driver's license showing you are at least 21 years of age and access to reliable transportation.
- Comfort and desire to spend majority of working hours travelling from account to account.
- Proactive approach; ability to work independently and report results back to Management.
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills; confident, enthusiastic and a friendly demeanor, with the ability to listen, negotiate and effectively persuade others.
- Technically proficient with IOS devices (iPad, iPhone, etc.)
- Disciplined and effective at time management; Ability to follow instructions, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with complete accuracy.
Job Responsibilities and Details:
- Operate, company-provided technology devices for mapping.
- Responsible for servicing and refilling existing humidors of products to keep company products fully stocked.
- In person customer visits within a geographic territory/network; at least once every 4-6 weeks to review inventory and share new product information.
- Generate and transmit sales invoicing and estimates daily, using our iPad-based sales/accounting software.
- Provides compliance of daily reporting for route activity, expenses, money collected, and sales/inventory.
- Understand and anticipate customer requirements, based on geographical, seasonal and industry trends.
- Introduce new products and prices, reinforce established and agreed upon case volume, and display activity.
- Maintains professional business relationship with existing retailers.
- Assisting in new account set up.
- Constant daily travel; you need to be in the field visiting customers every day.
- Perform sales support functions to include the use of current point of sale, collecting data, and consistent communication with the office manager regarding changes in buyer preferences and or out of stock inventory, and any concerns/situations encountered.

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
