Line Cook
Sunnyside Par 3 is a beautiful executive 9 hole course located just south of Lake George in Queensbury, NY with a bar/restaurant that is open year round. Sunnyside Par 3 offers seasonal outdoor golfing with a new expansion coming this fall for 5 indoor golf simulators to allow golfing year round! Sunnyside Par 3 has an expert team of staff both back and front of the house that we are looking to add to immediately to expand our kitchen hours and for the anticipated business growth throughout the winter months. Sunnyside Par 3 features a delicious pub style menu and pizza menu with a full bar that services a great local core of clientele for daily lunch, dinner, as well as special parties/banquets.
Line Cook Job Responsibilities:
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, baking, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces and floors at the end of the shift.
- Help clean and sanitize dishware, glassware and utensils during and at the end of each shift.

Sunnyside Par 3 is looking to add a full-time hourly employee to the team with a set weekly schedule. It is expected to be okay with working well with team members and alone in high stress, high demand situations as well as being able to stay busy during slower times. Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- Ability to work as a team member
- Follows directions and instructions
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two to three years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
- Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred
- Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
- Familiar with industry best practices
