Commercial Service/Maintenance Technician – Are you an experienced Service/Maintenance Technician with significant commercial experience or apartment experience? A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A COMMERCIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN
As a Commercial Service Technician, our expectations are that you arrive at our clients' businesses on time, within our company provided vehicle and appropriately represent us as you perform the contracted services. You assess and diagnose plumbing, and service-related problems, take the preventative measures needed for the systems that we service. You will document and communicate problems and solutions in such a way that is clear and satisfactory to each client, verbally and in written report form. You will take before and after pictures to document the job along the way, on a company provided cell phone. You play an integral part in maintaining recurring business. You work well with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed. You have exposure to basic building repair, minor carpentry, wall repair, drywall, painting and floor repair. Performs other duties as required.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE QUALIFIED AS A COMMERCIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in the commercial service industry or apartment maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Great communication skills and friendly personality.
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
- Understands the urgency needed to respond to a client in a 24- hour service environment.
- Must be willing to work on a rotating on call schedule for some nights and weekends.
- Hand tools needed to perform daily operations.
- Exposure to basic building repair, minor carpentry, wall repair, drywall, painting and floor repair.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record a must.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
