We are seeking a professional line cook who has a certified experience at least 10+ years.
We are the small brunch restaurant run by the whole family members and located in nearby downtown area of Phoenix (Jackson St & 2nd Ave). Business hours is Monday - Friday, 7am to 3pm, closed on the weekend and any holidays.
Hours would be 6hrs (9am-3pm) for now but could be possibly given a full time (7am -3pm) in near future (but it is not guaranteed yet!)
First two weeks would be a training period, and during that time the pay rate will be $20.00/hour. After the training period the rate would be adjusted in between 20.00 - 25.00 depending on your skills and ability of how you process things and progress in your duties.
Requirements:
- AZ Food handler card OR Food Manager Certification (Please be prepared with it if you currently don't have it)
- Should be able to cover all breakfast menu professionally. (Ex. all types of eggs, burrito, omelets)
- Should be able to work/process/cooperate at a fast pace with the high level of concentration.
Duties:
-Prepping (Cutting/Chopping veggies, Cutting Chicken, ham, sausage, Slicing meats (mostly ham or pastrami))
-Breakfast menu (Omelets, Burrito, Hash brown, Breakfast Sandwich)
- Grilling burgers
- Cleaning ** (Very important that you must keep the area we are working nice and clean. The grill requires to be maintained clean as much as possible.
-Work CLEAN
- Doing dishes
