Job description
We are looking for a responsible Cabinetmaker to perform independently and as a team for a variety of millwork projects. A Cabinetmaker will be responsible for duties including but not limited to laying out and building custom high-end cabinetry, assembling semi-custom cabinets, fitting a variety of hardware, milling and fabricating various parts and accessories, and completing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to organize their work and be prepared with the experience and knowledge needed to complete tasks. If you have previous experience as a cabinetmaker and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Cabinetmaker should have an eye for detail and the ability to problem-solve efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Reading and understanding shop drawings to determine tasks needed to complete the project.
- Organize and keep a workspace tidy.
- Communicate well with other cabinetmakers and project managers.
- Complete builds from start to finish.
- Have a clear understanding of working schedules and deadlines.
- Quality control. We pride ourselves on a high-quality product.
- To be reliable and a team player.
Skills
- Adequate experience in cabinetry and millwork construction.
- Well-versed in a variety of woodworking tools.
- Punctual.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
