ROLE OVERVIEW
EBIN NEW YORK is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires a proactive and resourceful individual with strong interpersonal skills and a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring.
- Prepare and manage onboarding HR forms and documentation for new hires.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
New Hire Orientations:
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation sessions to facilitate a smooth transition for new employees.
- Provide new hires with essential information about company policies, procedures, and benefits.
Benefits Enrollment:
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment processes and address any related inquiries.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
Time Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records for all employees.
- Generate and distribute timekeeping reports as required.
Calendaring:
- Manage and maintain calendars for the HR Director and the Senior Manager of Strategic Planning.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
Meeting Coordinating:
- Arrange and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, materials, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure all necessary arrangements are made for a successful meeting.
Event Planning:
- Assist in planning and organizing company events, such as employee appreciation events, training sessions, and team-building activities.
- Coordinate logistics and manage event details to ensure successful execution.
Monthly Newsletter:
- Create and distribute a monthly HR newsletter to keep employees informed about company updates, events, and important information.
- Gather and compile content for the newsletter from various sources.
General Administrative Tasks:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR Director and the Senior Manager of Strategic Planning.
- Manage correspondence, file maintenance, and office supplies.
Other Requests:
- Assist with any other tasks or projects as requested by the HR Director and the Senior Manager of Strategic Planning.
- Support HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and policy updates. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.

- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to address and resolve employee issues effectively.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work as part of a team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
