DanHattan Sales Representative Position – Part Time
Overview
DanHattan Cocktail Creations is an exciting new brand that has recently entered the Central Ohio market and has now expanded into four states as of summer 2024. With an electrifying launch of the product, we are looking to have a Sales Representative to continue our growth in the State of Ohio with an initial focus on Greater Columbus.
We are going to be the highest quality Ready to Drink brand on the market. Our expressions include The Espresso Martini, The Dirty Martini, and of course - The Danhattan.
Our Sales Representative will work directly with to solicit business from on-premises locations (Country Clubs, Wedding Venues, Bars/Restaurants etc.) and additionally will work as-need at off-premise (Ohio State Agency Stores) to market and promote our product line. With the State Agency Stores, there will be particular emphasis working on product placement, sales displays, end cap shelving and scheduling and conducting in store tastings. For on-premises clients, our Sales Representative will be the primary point of contact for introducing and selling our products to existing and new clients, working with these clients to feature our products in cocktails and on menus. This position will also ensure all sales and order fulfillment runs smoothly and there is adequate product on and with our customers. In some cases, the sales representative will be required to make deliveries to these clients.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Previous Alcohol Sales, Event Management, or Beverage Management preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of mixology and the spirits industry.
- Ability to effectively persuade and influence others.
- Problem solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of customer service standards.
- Computer skills, Microsoft office preferred.
- Use of basic hand tools and equipment dolly.
- Ability to regularly lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and auto Insurance must be age 21 or older.
- Very outgoing along with strong self-direction, ability to work with minimal supervision and set priorities / multitask.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow established guidelines to develop sales and marketing plans to promote & sell DanHattan products within an assigned geographic area to meet sales targets.
- Generate and pursue sales leads, personally visit existing and new customers, assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services, prepare price quotes, delivery dates and service obligations to meet established revenue targets.
- Develop sales skills and knowledge of DanHattan products, services, and customers by working closely with management.
- Responsible for daily execution of sales support initiatives including, but not limited to, building and setting up displays, rotating product and shelf management.
- Develops and maintains relationships with retailers to promote a positive Company image.
- Troubleshoot and handle customer related inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Schedule
- This role will be around 30-40 hours per week with a majority of the time spent in the field with clients selling our products. Some evenings and weekends will be required for sales and promotional activities. Flexible schedule management.
Compensation and Benefits
- $20-$25 per hour based on experience.
- $20 bonus for every new on-premises placement of 6 bottles. Additional bonus for re-orders.
- $75 bonus for getting DanHattan on a seasonal menu that last 3-months.
- $40 bonus for every in-store agency tasting on top of hourly pay.
- A monthly gas allowance will be provided.

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and marketing management
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, strategies, and principles
- Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Excellent account management and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and data to identify opportunities for growth
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals effectively
- Experience in outside sales is preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
