Duties:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients with developmental disabilities to determine their needs and create treatment plans
- Implement and oversee behavioral therapy interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the patient's care
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of applied behavior analysis
Skills:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Proficient in data collection methods and analysis
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate medical documentation
