Requirements:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:

Skills in effective leadership, including, but not limited to: communication, motivation, delegation, trustworthiness, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and relationship building.

Knowledge of CARF standards, DOL regulations, VR regulations, and DMH regulations.

Skill in oral communication, including effective negotiation, advocacy, and collaboration.

Skill in professional writing.

Skill in computer programs, such as Zoom, Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and online documentation systems.

Ability to supervise, coach and train staff.

Skill in making decisions independently in accordance with program and organization standards and policy

Skill in utilizing appropriate counseling/intervention techniques when working with individuals with disabilities

Ability to complete documentation and maintain records in an efficient manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling or related field and/or five years of experience with individuals with disabilities.

Five years administrative/management experience in human services industry.
LICENSING OR OTHER SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Valid Missouri Class E License & proof of vehicle insurance.

Successful completion of criminal history background check.

Qualification as a Degreed Professional Manager.
