The Institute for Infant and Preschool Mental Health clinic in East Orange was the first mental health agency in NJ to specialize in treating children under the age of five. Today, the Institute provides holistic clinical treatment for children and their families from birth- 12 years of age. Additional services include developmental and psychological evaluations, psychiatric evaluations, and medication monitoring. In addition, the clinic maintains several partnerships with community organizations and is frequently contracted to provide onsite treatment.
The Institute is a place of learning and serves as a training site for Doctoral and Master-level clinicians. All clinicians and staff have access to participating in weekly trainings aimed at enhancing assessment and treatment. In addition, the clinician will be provided with weekly supervision.
Telehealth opportunities may be available.
Job Duties Include:
- Working with children and families by providing services based on individualized treatment plans.
- Providing individual assessments and individual, family and group therapy to clients.
Job Requirements:
- Master's Degree
- Valid NJ Social Worker's License (LSW, LAC, LCSW, or LPC)
- 1 Years full-time clinical experience
