Our Facility School serves youth ages 6-21 on a year-round calendar. As a Therapeutic Instructor, you will provide direct educational and behavioral support working individually with students and in small group settings. You will support students in increasing their independence and achieving their educational and behavioral goals. Each student's care is highly individualized and developed by our clinical team consisting of Special Education Teachers, BCBAs OT, Speech and Mental Health clinicians.
PAID TRAINING
SPECTRA provides all the training and supervision necessary to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential at no cost to the employee. We also provide QBS Safety-Care training that provides the skills and competencies necessary to effectively de-escalate and manage behavioral challenges.

COMPENSATION
Compensation starts with an hourly rate of $19.50 - $23.00 per hour based upon education level and years of experience and shifts to a salaried rate of $40,560 - $47,840 (assumes a 40-hour work week) once the RBT credential is earned.
HOURS
Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm, with two afternoons per week 3:30pm - 6:00pm in our afterschool ABA program.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Bachelors Degree is preferred but not required
- Experience working with children with Autism and related populations preferred but not required.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification to be obtained within 90-days of hire
