We are a local accounting firm known for our care and commitment to our clients. Our payroll service is in high demand and as we continue to grow, we are looking for a payroll clerk to assist our payroll team by providing accurate and expeditious data entry to ensure our client's employees are paid accurately and on time. Duties for the position include:
- Entering payroll data into our software
- Entering client information into our accounting software
- Reconciling accounts
- Answer client payroll related questions in a timely and professional manner
- Composing professional responses to government inquiries
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Payroll or bookkeeping experience
- Previous experience in an accounting office
- A background in HR services is a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency in data entry and office software
- Excellent typing and 10-key skills required
- Professional appearance, punctual
- Strong organizational skills
- Assisting clients with their needs in a courteous and professional manner
