- Prepare and cook menu items for banquets and special events following specified recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure safe food handling practices, proper storage, and labeling of ingredients.
- Maintain a positive "say yes" attitude to meet guest requests and exceed expectations.
- Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
- Adhere to dietary requirements and restrictions for special meals as needed.
- Assist in supporting catering operations as required.
Experience:
- Proficiency in food safety practices within the catering or fine dining industry.
- Strong culinary skills with experience in a kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of dietary aide procedures and food industry standards.
- Excellent knife skills for food preparation.
- Prior experience in catering or banquet cooking is a plus.
