We are looking for an eager, fast-learning addition to our wealth management team. The position offers excellent exposure and opportunity to learn about different facets of the wealth management industry at a growing firm with multiple avenues for advancement. Responsibilities
- Responds to routine client requests via phone, email and/or other contact methods
- Monitors daily custodial alerts including cash management, account updates, trading, etc. and resolves accordingly
- Records client inquires including service changes, new account opening, money movement, trading, etc. in CRM
- Prepares custodian paperwork, facilitates account updates and communicates with clients on status
- Prepares alternative investment paperwork for client signature as well as process fundings and or capital calls
- Meets regularly with wealth advisor team to prioritize workload, provides timely updates on client service items and escalates potential issues when appropriate
- Assists with preparation of meeting presentation materials, documents meeting follow-up and takes ownership of specific operational related tasks
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with operations leadership team on projects and/or initiatives designed to streamline firm policies and procedures
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- Commitment to detail with excellent organization, time management, and interpersonal skills; excellent verbal/written skills
- Detail-oriented, solutions-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Self-starter with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
- Understand the importance of projecting a professional image to our high-net-worth clients, whether in person or communicating via phone/email
- Undergraduate degree required (bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Economics preferred)
- 2+ years of relevant experience working with high-net worth individuals a plus; preferably with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), investment management firm or broker/dealer
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.)
- Knowledge of Tamarac and CRM preferred
- Experience with Charles Schwab and Fidelity preferred
