Industrial Solutions Illinois is a full-service distributor and fabricator specializing in conveyor belting, machined parts and field service work for the manufacturing industry. ISU is a medium sized, niche company in growth mode with locations in IL, WI and MO. We are looking for some well-rounded, highly organized individuals to join our passionate team and grow with us. We are looking for a candidate that enjoys our fast-paced environment. The right candidate must have the ability to multi-task and wear many different hats.
As the Operations Coordinator, you will perform a variety of duties across several divisions of our company including working on and maintaining- Inventory, Shipping/Receiving, Managing/Organizing Paperwork flow, and ordering Office and Shop supplies. The Operations coordinator will develop a full understanding of the ISU QuickBooks and SharePoint systems and work in conjunction with the Office, Shop and Sales teams. The Operations Coordinator manages day-to-day operations to ensure things run smoothly and efficiently - making sure ship dates are met.
Must have the following qualifications:
- Detail Oriented with superior organizational skills
- Experience with Inventory Management--Includes shelve organization and inventory control.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Experience working with a 5S system a plus
- Shipping/Receiving experience a plus
- Positive Attitude
- Willingness to Learn
- Works Well with others
- Ability to Work Independently While Following Written Standard Operating Procedures
- Valid Driver License and Insurance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software a plus
Day to Day Duties to include but not limited to:
- Utilizes Internal reports to manage min/max levels and conduct cycle and inventory counts.
- Organizes the entire work order flow including filing belt material graphs and submitting paperwork through proper channels for invoicing and allocation.
- Managing the ISU Illinois Work Order Email Inbox
- Maintaining accurate ship dates on all orders
- Become “The Keeper of the House”
- Observing, reviewing and analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made
- Ensure the shop has on time deliveries for all orders
- Properly order new office and shop supplies avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
