Position Responsibilities
- Administers company programs.
- Provides support in functional areas of HR including staffing and recruitment, employee/labor relations, compensation management, benefits and employee services, organizational development, training, equal employment opportunity, projects, records, etc.
- Assists in the dissemination of HR policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness.
- Prepares and analyzes reports and maintains records.
- Ensures regulatory compliance.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Responds to employee relations issues (complaints, conflicts with supervision, harassment allegations, discrimination allegations, handling grievances, etc.).
- Be accountable for the accuracy and quality control of all work and communications.
- Build, maintain and promote relationships with team members, peers across disciplines, staff and all other company team members ensuring effective coordination of communications and services affecting clients.
- Facilitates training, orientation, and communication.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Nature and Scope
- Uses established procedures and works under immediate supervision to perform assigned tasks.
- Manages day-to-day operations of the office.
- Participates in HR policy and program development with more senior HR team members. Interprets and applies organization policy.
- Maintains confidential information.
Knowledge and Skills
- Understands fundamental HR concepts, practices and procedures.
- Coaches employees and management through difficult issues.
- Researches and analyzes data and information.
- Understands employment law and government compliance requirements.
