Job Summary:
The Service Manager at Hiley Automotive Group is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department. This individual will ensure that our customers receive top-quality service for their vehicles while also maintaining a profitable and efficient service department. This is a full-time position with a combination of a base salary and commission, perfect for a skilled and experienced technician looking to advance their career in the auto industry.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the service department, including scheduling, customer service, and technician productivity
- Ensure that all service work is performed efficiently and meets high-quality standards
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize service department profitability
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of service department staff
- Monitor and analyze department performance to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records of service department operations, including inventory, maintenance, and customer invoices
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continually improve the service department's operations
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive service and repair, with at least 1 year of management or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems used in the automotive industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
