The weekend therapist position is a unique clinical support position. The weekend therapist
is predominantly an ‘on-call’ position in which the therapist will be offsite and available by
phone for clinical emergencies and clinical support if/when needed. Some onsite work will
be required. Training will be provided by Clinical Director and Program Director to ensure
successful transition into the role.
Hours:
On-call remote support: Starting Friday 5pm - Ending Monday 9am
Saturday onsite from 4p-8p
Sunday onsite from 3:30p-7:30p
Tuesday (offsite) clinical meeting attendance via zoom from 11:30am-2pm
Responsibilities:
Provide off site and onsite clinical support for residents/families when needed
Assist with crisis interventions assuring milieu is therapeutic and safe
Update supervisor, clinical team and programming team, providing written report on
notable resident behavior through the weekend and directives for follow
Facilitate in-house group one time weekly with all residents
Communicate with outside providers when needed
Coordinating psychiatric emergency services when needed
Attend weekly clinical meeting
Minimum Requirements
Experience working in residential treatment required
Experience providing on-call support and working with a team in managing crises
Masters Degree or Higher in Psychology or Related Field
Licensed or Registered Associate Mental Health Professional (Marriage and
Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist)
If unlicensed, 2500+ hours
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with families preferred
Compensation: $80k-$90k depending upon experience
