Essential duties and responsibilities:

Assist with the talent acquisition process including recruiting, onboarding and orientation for both corporate and building employees and summer intern program.
- Maintain HRIS system, process new hires, transfers, terminations, reporting

Administer new hire onboarding (draft offer letters, coordinate new hire orientation, enter new hire into Paycom, processes new hire paperwork).

Plan and conduct new hire orientation.

Oversee and process employee exits
- Maintain employee files to ensure proper documentation of forms and actions.
- Liaison with Payroll department to provide accurate information for weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing.

Prepare PAF and maintain compensation sheets.

Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, programs, employment verifications, tuition reimbursements etc.
- Assist Human Resources Manager with performance review program, including 90 day and annual performance reviews.

Manage labor and compliance requirements including posting requirements, compliance database, as well as posting requirements within the HRIS.

Assist Human Resources Manager with employee relations matters, workers compensation, medical accommodations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of learning and development activities to support the company’s needs and develop high-quality, high- performance workforce.

Coordinate and assist with Company events.

Assist Human Resources Manager in maintaining human resources policies, processes to ensure compliance with relevant state, city and local employment laws.

Respond to COVID-19 employee matters to ensure the continued health and safety of employee populations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, skills and abilities:

Associates Degree in Human Resources or related field, Bachelors Degree preferred
- 3 to 6 years experience in human resources

Fluency in Spanish language a plus

Strong interest in Human Resources

Working knowledge of Federal and New York State employment laws

Excellent analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Able to carry out multiple and diverse tasks concurrently

Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise good judgement

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of Paycom a plus
