More than 40 years later, La Maison Du Chocolat operates in 7 countries with more than 45 boutiques, e-Commerce and a vast Corporate Sales program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Enhance the Client Experience
- To acquire, cultivate and maintain relationships with our clients through deep product knowledge, personal engagement and luxury service, including:
- Greet and welcome clients throughout all areas of the store
- Connect with clients in a genuine and meaningful way, going to "where they are" to emphasize readiness to assist/prioritize them
- Provide clients with advice and knowledge that they may not have realized they needed, revealing the “genius of chocolate” and our creations
- Make every client interaction a personal and seamless experience
- Exhibit behaviors that support client satisfaction goals (KPIs)
- Educate self and client on merchandise, events, promotions, policy and services
- Recommend items based on expert product knowledge and client preferences
Cultivate and grow client base
- Cultivate the client relationship through personalized connection
- Acquire and build client base primarily through forming relationships with new clients and maintaining/retaining/”building spend” of existing clients
- Strategize own business and be self‐motivated; take initiative to increase individual and team success
Champion operational excellence
- Assist in operational tasks (actively maintain selling floor, back-of-house, fill in stock, uphold health and safety precautions/cleaning, etc )
- Follow and implement company policies and procedures
- Diligently record all client information for orders and ensure they are communicated/filed properly
- Complete daily opening and/or closing duties as assigned by management team
- Ensure high levels of cleanliness/hygiene when handling any product
- Maintain professional appearance and adherence to attendance/punctuality/timekeeping policies
Contribute to team success
- Partner with others and/or other channels to provide the best Client Experience
- Create a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration
- Maintain positive working relationships throughout the company
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience in luxury retail or restaurant industry; culinary experience a plus
- Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
- Industry awareness and business acumen
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Passion for gastronomy
- Essential skill sets: Attention to Detail; Self Management; Emotional Intelligence; Communication
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule which will include evenings, weekends and holidays
- NYC Health and Safety Certification a plus
