Principle Accountabilities:
- Accountable for the timely and accurate completion of his/her own job duties.

Locate all materials necessary for next job: plates, ink and stock.

Prepare first load of next job.
- Remove ink from fountains.
- Remove plates. Zero clamps.
- Wash ink fountains, rollers. Clean wash-up trays. Clear catwalks of all materials.

Fill all containers and bottles for wash up.

Remove pull-out sheets or set up sheets, strap unit and properly tag for recycle.

Empty carts and trash.

Clean plate cylinder, bears and clamps. Clean impression cylinder and cylinder bearers. Wipe off electric eyes on feeder.

Adjust feeder, stock. Register per operating procedures. Set feeder head, feedboard, side-guide, and 2 sheet trip. Check press settings; run 3 blank sheets through press. Watch sheet travel & correct. Obtain approval of pressman.

Prepare second load of stock.
- Fill ink fountains, roll up inkers lightly.

Correct feeder, stock register settings if necessary.

Set skeleton wheels and anti-marking devices.

Help maintain point quality throughout run.

Keep water tanks full, maintain proper pH and conductivity.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.

Ability to work overtime as needed.

Be passionate about upholding a strong quality standard.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.

6 months’ experience as a Press Department First Helper.

6 months’ experience in the Press and Finishing Department.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.

Understanding of equipment design and has capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
