The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing all of the fiscal and administrative duties of the agencies financial functions. The Finance Manager is also responsible for the management of the finance office (AP/AR) and for maintaining all financial information system functions, meeting all fiscal-related regulations, associated deadlines, and for the completion of all fiscal-related auditing processes.
Essential Job Functions:
· Prepares monthly cash reconciliations
· Reconciles bank statements vs. general ledge accounts
· Works under the direction with the executive financial team/CEO or designee
· Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for Executive Leadership
· Oversees the A/R and A/P transactions
· Reconciliation of payments and accounts
· Prepares monthly cash reconciliations
· Assist in annual budget forecasting and the annual budget processes for each agency program.
· Analysis of all financial records and reporting
· Familiar with UFR funding and reporting
· Financial understanding of Non-Profit’s is preferred
· Strong understanding of G/L ledger accounts and working within financial systems
· Evaluate data pertaining to costs and plan budgets
· Supervises the day to day activity of the financial team (A/P, A/R)
· Knowledge of payroll processing for payroll processing redundancy
· Communicates effectively with supervisors, peers and subordinates
· Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and coordination of people and resources.
· Proven knowledge in accounting principles and practices, knowledge in analysis and financial data reporting.
· Careful about details and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
· Honest and ethical with pleasant cooperative attitude.
· Requires willingness to lead and offer constructive input.
· Attend Finance Committee meeting as necessary

Technological Skills:
· Proven applied accounting software knowledge to be able to adapt to current software.
· Presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint.
· Knowledge of excel export function features for analytical purposes.
Education Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance with 5+ years’ experience; Masters preferred.
Physical Requirements: Visual acuity to computer screen data, manual coordination and dexterity, sit, standing, climbing stairs for multi-level office building, ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
