The Opportunity
At WilliamsMarston, we utilize third party agencies for many of our marketing and public relations matters. As Marketing Manager, you will partner with these agencies to plan and develop a wide array of content, with a heavy focus on project management and coordination. You will operate as a key member of the firm’s internal marketing department and play a crucial role in aligning all marketing and related matters with our professional brand.
In this role, you will:
- Help manage the relationships with external agencies to execute marketing and public relation initiatives effectively.
- Manage complex projects, driving on-time deliverables, while anticipating and managing risks.
- Support leaders, subject matter experts, and third party agencies as they align on marketing strategies and achieve business objectives.
- Support demand generation and multi-channel campaigns, thought leadership, webinars, sponsorships, events, speaking engagements, e-mail marketing (nurture campaigns), presentations, media relations, and communication strategies.
- Facilitate the posting on social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and updates to the company website.
- Help monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using various metrics and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software).
- Stay updated with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices within the accounting industry to keep our firm’s marketing efforts innovative.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve marketing processes, tools, and techniques.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies.
The Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field required.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of marketing experience required.
- Prior marketing experience in a professional services or agency environment preferred.
- Prior experience with developing content for a professional services firm preferred.
- Exceptional marketing analytics skills with demonstrated experience with the analysis of campaign data for marketing performance reporting.
- Outstanding organizational skills and project management skills – with the ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects/ priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills.
- Strong persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and data-driven thinking.
- Experience leveraging integrated marketing automation/ CRM for optimal marketing use and performance.
- Expertise in the MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PPT, as well as Adobe. Google Analytics, WordPress and Salesforce Account Engagement experience preferred.
- Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity. Must be proactive and resourceful.
