**Job Overview:**

- Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
- Performing basic assessments such as measuring oxygen saturation and blood sugar levels
- Preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
- Assisting with minor procedures like wound care and injections (under the guidance of a licensed provider)
Emergency Medical Technician Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the healthcare provider.
- Stock and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
- Facilitate clear communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records.
- Respond to emergencies within the clinic setting, providing initial support and maintaining a calm environment until further medical intervention arrives.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
- Ability to provide accurate medical histories to providers and deliver excellent documentation
- Perform rapid testing: Covid, Influenza, Strep, Pregnancy, UA's, blood glucose
- Phlebotomy experience required! Perform lab draws and prepare for pick-up by Quest Labs
- Take basic vital signs, orthostatic vitals, perform EKGs, and perform visual acuity exams
- Administer medications: IM injections, nebulizer treatments, IV therapy
- Have a strong proficiency in electronic health record systems and office software
- Send and manage referrals, complete daily checklists as appropriate
- Use and manage autoclave device; sterilize equipment and perform mandatory maintenance
- Support our MedSpa patients by assisting with weight loss patients, performing IV therapy, IM injections, assisting with liposuction, drawing and preparing blood for PRP procedures
- Promote MedSpa services to primary care patients as appropriate providing a total wellness approach!
- If certified, perform X-Rays and submit to off-site radiology team, upload results into system

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
