Pay Rate: $16.50/hour
Location: Onsite - Springfield, MO 65803
Shift: Sunday through Friday one day off in the middle of the week and Saturdays off. Start time at 9am until done it could be 5 pm or 9 pm.

Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for providing the highest level of accuracy within each aspect of customer order fulfillment. This includes, but is not limited to, receiving product, stocking/replenishment, product selection, routing completed orders to the appropriate trailer, and maintaining a safe work environment. Utilization of computers will apply. Performance consistent with guidelines established by the Manager of Distribution and the Operations Management Team of the CSC will be essential. Adherence to the goals and philosophy of Sisters Mercy Health System, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics and The Employee Code of Conduct is required. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Physical/Working Conditions:

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
- Demonstrated mathematical ability to count accurately and follow written instructions.
- Must be able to manage multiple, complex instructions simultaneously.
- Ability to reach and lift supplies and boxes of reasonable weight.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely and repetitively lift and carry a 50-pound load as exhibited during a post-offer functional capacity testing process.
- Ability to work long hours in a warehouse preparing and loading freight.
- Familiarity with computers and keyboard proficiency.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with lot controlled and expiration dated product handling preferred.
- Certification/Registration: Ability to operate forklift and rider pallet jacks preferred.
