A Caring Heart Case Management is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team in providing comprehensive care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients by offering empathy, energy, and encouragement to promote their independence and well-being.
We are currently searching for the right candidate with the right experience to work with one of our consumers.
Schedule:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-3pm
- Every other weekend
Requirements:
- Must be dependable with a good work ethic.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and safe driving record.
- Must have a valid drivers license and state minimum auto insurance.
- Background checks will be performed on all applicants.
- Confidence in working with clients that are Autistic and have potential aggressive behaviors.
- Self-control and patience when dealing with escalated behaviors i.e. verbal provocation.
- Strong characteristics to handle individuals with explosive disorders.
- Ability to learn and execute de-escalation strategies to handle crisis situations in a competent manner.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience working with Autistic Clients

About This Position (Habilitation Technician):
- All trainings will be provided by A Caring Heart Case Management Inc.
- Direct support services provide instruction to individuals to help them learn, retain, or improve skills for maximal functioning.
- Skill building focuses on self-care, household maintenance, social and communication skills, money management, social and community inclusion, mobility employment, and self-regulation.
- Services will be provided in the home, community, and day program.
