The Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Clinic team!
The Registered Nurse will be involved in supporting the treatment of patients with autism and other developmental disorders and their families.
The Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence is a full-service integrated treatment, research, and training center designed to meet the needs of Maine families, generate new treatment models, and advance autism science for the benefit of all. New and expanded services include child and adult outpatient clinics, preschool, K-12-day treatment and early intervention in-home services.
The ideal candidate will have pediatric and/or psychiatric experience in addition to phlebotomy and ECG experience.
This is 24-hour flexible day position requiring no major holidays, weekends or on-call.

Position Summary
- Assists with face-to-face and telephonic care and treatment of patients. Responsible for the delivery of care through the process of nursing assessment, planning and implementation. Promotes a smooth flow of patients through the office and helps to create a calm and supportive atmosphere, demonstrating the Values in Action with each interaction, at all times. Performs tasks as required within their scope of practice, paying attention to detail and accuracy. Conducts all interactions with patients and personnel in a courteous, respectful manner while maintaining confidentiality. The incumbent is required to conduct all job responsibilities consistent with policies, procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws or mandates relating to patient care and activities.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: BSN preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing required. Current BLS required.
- Experience: At least two years' experience in related field preferred.
- The use and knowledge of computers, the knowledge of office procedures necessary, and routine laboratory procedures.
