Our client is seeking an Email Marketing Assistant to support their Marketing & Communications team. The successful candidate will assist in managing and executing email marketing campaigns, maintaining subscriber lists, and contributing to email marketing automations.
Reporting to the Email Marketing Specialist, this is an exempt, full-time hybrid (minimum 3 days in office) position located in their NYC headquarters office.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and managing email marketing campaigns, including setup, deployment, and reporting.
- Update email templates using HTML and CSS to ensure mobile optimization and compatibility across various email clients.
- Support in managing email marketing lists and ensuring data hygiene and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Contribute ideas for email marketing strategies and tactics to optimize performance, including A/B testing and segmentation.
- Assist in implementing and overseeing email marketing automations following best practices.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to manage incoming email requests, ensuring adherence to branding, goals, and best practices.
- Monitor email marketing metrics and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, and 2+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Pardot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Basic coding skills in HTML and CSS for creating marketing emails compatible with major email clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as design tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator, and CRM database systems.
- Experience setting up or managing email marketing automations is a plus.
- Understanding of email marketing best practices, including compliance with CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and GDPR, as well as email list segmentation and hygiene.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively to meet deadlines.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,449-$64,311 annually.
